January 10, 2008 (FPRC) -- The vertical job board, which specialises in recruiting PAs, office managers and executive secretaries, launched a branded application that allows users to send their friends and colleagues light hearted warnings for anti-social office behaviour.

The social networking initiative lets its active members send multiple warnings for office behaviour deemed by the bestower to be improper. There are 50 Office ASBOs available to send including ‘Coffee-duty Dodger’, ‘Busy-body’ and ‘Catwalk Culprit’.

The branded application was developed in response to the growing popularity of social networking amongst the job board’s target audience. By tapping into its audience’s activities, the brand hopes to increase its presence amongst their target market. With an average of 250,000 new users joining Facebook everyday, it seems the social network could become an important part of online marketing for brands*.

Benjamin Watt, Online Marketing Executive says, “Facebook applications provide an ideal method for us to engage with our jobseekers in a fun way. PAs and secretaries are the eyes and ears of most organisations and they are the first to know about inappropriate office activities. This is their chance to crack down on unruly behaviour!”

The application is branded with SecretarialCareers.co.uk's distinctive logo and it allows users to click through and search for UK PA and secretarial positions in sectors such as banking and finance, legal, medical, IT & telecoms and HR sectors.
