XARC Mastering, The World’s First Fully Internet-Based Mastering Studio, Is Celebrating Its Move Into The Fifth Year Of Operation
Since launching December 1st, 2003, XARC Mastering has led a transformation in the mastering industry. Countless mastering studios have followed XARC’s lead and moved online.
Today, XARC has a growing client base of over 800 active clients with many returning several times throughout the year. XARC has now worked with clients in 83 countries or 43% of all countries globally.

Since launching December 1st, 2003, XARC Mastering has led a transformation in the mastering industry. Countless mastering studios have followed XARC’s lead and moved online.
Today, XARC has a growing client base of over 800 active clients with many returning several times throughout the year. XARC has now worked with clients in 83 countries or 43% of all countries globally.
Owner and chief mastering engineer Lorenz Vauck, had this to say about the anniversary, “It has been a whirlwind ride since the website first opened in 2003. I never imagined there would be such an overwhelming demand for quality mastering from those all around the world.”
One recent project of note is a new album by the Synthpop group “elmodic” from Germany. It is to be released soon and is called “monoism". It will be distributed through the U.S. label “A Different Drum”.

In addition, after almost one and a half years without updates, the XARC before and after demo website section is in the process of a major update, which is anticipated to be completed in January, 2008.
There, clients will find more recent examples of what can be done for their music through the mastering process.
