January 17, 2008 (FPRC) -- (SEATTLE, WA)—Amongst all of the independent film makers and industry reps at the Sundance Film Festival, this year brings something special to Park City, Utah.

During the thirty-year anniversary of the event, New Eye Productions has invited Oasis Entertainment to partner in the production of The Synchronized Green Initiative Concert Series.

As well as musical icons like Garth Hudson of the Band, who will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 50th anniversary of the GRAMMY® Awards, the Concert Series will also feature some other very special guests.

This years featured artist and author will be world adventurer G.D. Garner, who will be publicly debuting his artwork alongside an animated short film promoting his highly anticipated adventure book “Through The Eyes Of Madness”

The event, held at the Sidecar Bar in Park City, UT, January 21 -23, 2008 will include an eclectic set of performances ranging from the Michael Williams Band to American Idol finalist Jon Peter Lewis.

The event producers have coordinated this event to offer artists high profile presence during the film festival. Aside from access to networking opportunities with corporate, film and other music industry people, they will be obtaining footage for several national and international television and internet broadcasts.

When asked about his participation in the event Garner had this to say.

“I am just honored to being working with professional organizations like New Eye Productions and Oasis who understand that we have a bigger obligation to the world than just providing really good entertainment. These management teams have been more than kind to me throughout this whole process and I am truly looking forward to the event.”

Garner has spent the past five years traveling across the seven continents, living amongst families of remote villages and searching for a simpler life.

“The most important thing, more than anything else are the causes that this event and my book will help support,” says Garner. “The whole purpose behind Through the Eyes of Madness was to create a vehicle that lets people buy something that they will enjoy and be inspired by but at the same time make a difference in the world.”

To date, as a result of book sales the author has funded children on 3 of the 7 continents to assure they will receive sound educational opportunities and appropriate school supplies and support, including hot meals.
