(FPRC) -- Deal, NJ (January 1-February 14, 2008)-- Falling leaves are nice, yet blizzards make you think twice. When you're searching in a hurry for indoor refuge this holiday season, why not check out a few local art exhibits? No need to trek into Manhattan and drive the congested highways...simply amble on over to your local Monmouth Medical Center!
With a cup of soul-warming tea or coffee in hand, you’ll head on over to the gracious hospital’s Maternity Ward, to admire the breath-taking storybook-inspired artwork happily donated by Monmouth County’s own family portrait artist, renowned photographer Alice Shammah…and welcomed with open arms by Monmouth Medical Center.
A true art professional, Ms. Shammah has taken various courses {at Parson's School of Design, as well as Brookdale Community College,} to enhance her own photography knowledge, spanning over two decades. As a member of both the Photographers’ Association of New Jersey, and the Photographers’ Association of America, Alice abides by the philosophy that learning is a life-long process.
Not to be outdone by the impersonal chain of department and toy stores offering photography, Ms. Shammah has shown why her talents are superior by offering many homemade gifts such as creative and digitally-enhanced Greeting cards; canvas Portraits; exquisite hand-painted studio backdrops; as well as beautiful photo handbags showcasing one’s own family photo, et cetera. To attest to Alice’s aptitude for producing one-of-a-kind memorable photos, Ms. Shammah is only too happy to procure client references exclaiming a true affection for the innocence of children that is clearly evident in the final piece of art created.
