January 25, 2008 (FPRC) -- EUGENE, ORE. – IDX, Inc. announced today the addition of Elizabeth Hilgendorf with All State Real Estate in Eugene, Oregon to the real estate professionals using the IDX Broker search tool application to connect consumers to their local Multiple Listing Service. Hilgendorf uses the Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS). The added ease of a simple property search helps to make and maintain happy real estate consumers.
IDX stands for Internet Data Exchange –IDX Broker uses this to extract information from MLS’s across the country and make the data (property listings) available for consumer searching on the websites of real estate professionals. IDX uses the agent’s website source code to provide a customized graphical integration of IDX Broker, giving it the look and feel of the rest of Hilgendorf’s website. The application is actually hosted on an IDX server, but this is not visually noticeable to users or their customers.
Elizabeth Hilgendorf has a variety of customizable options for the layout, design, and orientation of the application, including advanced CSS (cascading style sheet – basically the format for the entire website) controls, featured listings slideshow which can be placed anywhere on the site, forced registration for site visitors (allowing the agent to determine when a consumer can view the MLS data), MLS QUICK search (placing a normal search tool on the homepage), advanced search customization and custom city/community searches, Supplemental listings pages (allowing agents to post listings that have not been submitted to the MLS). Hilgendorf also has several administrative tools available as well, including lead management tools, detailed dashboard which includes a snapshot of IDX activity, including site traffic statistics, leads generated, etc. All of these tools work to make her job easier and her business more productive.
