Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 4, 2008: MindTree Consulting Ltd., a global IT and R&D Services Company, today announced its expansion plans in the Middle East region with the opening of its office in Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA). The new office will help the company further strengthen its presence in the Middle East as well as serve its regional customers better by offering more local support.

“The Middle East is growing at a rapid pace with a high demand for IT services in the region. We already serve customers such as Emirates, Dubai World, Dubai Customs, and Qatar Petroleum, to name a few.”

“We have chosen Dubai Airport Free Zone as our base in the Middle East as it provides the best business-environment coupled with state-of-the art facilities, including the most advanced online services, which are crucial to our growth in the region,” added Mr Irfanullah.

“We are happy that MindTree Consulting has chosen Dubai Airport Free Zone for their Middle East office,” said Dr. Mohammed Al Zarouni, Director General, DAFZA. “We wholeheartedly welcome them and commit to lend them every possible support. Due to the quality of services provided by us and the ease of setting up businesses, DAFZA remains the top choice among the investors in Dubai. We look forward to associating with partners like MindTree who are keen in making Dubai their port of entry into the Middle East region.”

MindTree provides end-to-end project execution onshore, offshore, or in a hybrid delivery model it calls OneShore.
