Buyers Save Thousands in Massive Hail Affected Vehicle Auctions

February 11, 2008 (FPRC) -- During February and March more than 1,600 vehicles including Toyotas, Mazdas, Holdens, Mitsubishis affected by the recent storms in Sydney will be available for sale over four massive auctions at Pickles Auctions in Sydney.

Director of Damaged Vehicles at Pickles Auctions, Will Morgan, believes the four hail auctions are a buyer’s heaven with something for everyone; car enthusiasts, hobbyist, trade and even the regular car buyer looking for a bargain.

“The recent hail storms didn’t discriminate when they swept through Sydney at the end of last year,” said Will. “We have a huge range of new and ex-dealer stock as well as late model used vehicles that all have been repairable write-offs by reputable insurance companies that must sell.”

“The four massive auctions are a buyer’s heaven; thousands of people will drive away with near new vehicles with only a small amount of damage and saving thousands of dollars.”

The Hail Affected Vehicle Auctions will take place over four dates;
• Saturday 2 February
• Saturday 16 February
• Saturday 1 March
• Saturday 15 March

All auctions will commence at 9:30am, viewing times is between 12:00pm – 4:00pm day prior and 8:00am day of sale.

The auctions will feature a large number of new and ex-dealer stock and late-model used vehicles including:
• Toyota Orions, Prados
• Mazda CX7, 3, 6
• Holdens
• Hondas
• Hyundais
• Subarus
• Nissans
• Mitsubishi Lancers, Outlanders
• And much more!

Each auction will be held at 1A Manchester Road, Auburn, Sydney.

Successful buyers will be expected to pay a cash deposit of $1,000 or 10% of the vehicle price along with a 6.6% buyers premium and an administration fee.
