Technology for controlling odours and dust is bringing international growth to a family-run business based in a North East coastal town. Probe Industries Limited is shipping orders from its base in Whitley Bay to Hong Kong, Australia and Africa.
The company designs and manufactures equipment and chemical products used in systems to deal with odour, dust or fly control as well as any humidity problems. Its systems are in operation at hundreds of sewage plants, waste management transfer stations, landfill sites and other premises.
Probe Industries has a dedicated research and development team, headed by Dr Peter Carty, which aims to help take North East technology around the world.
Probe Industries have revolutionary products for suppressing odours, such as the Probe Atomiser.
Commercial Director Victoria Browning said: “We are already recognised as a highly innovative company but we need to stay ahead of the competition.
