Exclusive free guest list tickets to the Paramount Comedy Funniest Student 2008 final taking place at London's Comedy Store on 10 March are now available

February 21, 2008 (FPRC) -- Magners Paramount Comedy On Tap and Off The Kerb Productions invites you to come along to the world-famous Comedy Store in London on 10th March to support our Funniest Student 2008 finalists as they battle it out to win the prestigious title of ‘Funniest Student 2008’.
A panel of comedy industry big-wigs will announce the winner on the night so you could well witness the next Russell Brand being propelled to stand-up superstardom! And you’ll be able to say that you saw them here first.
Ricky Gervais’s support act/best mate/whipping boy Robin Ince is so worried about the calibre of our Funniest Student finalists that he’s agreed to join the judging panel for a second year: “I have returned to the student comedy award to hopefully put all these young bucks off having a career in comedy, otherwise there just won't be the room for the older people who can already feel the decay of their bones every time they take to the stage.”
Exclusive guest list tickets to the Funniest Student 2008 final are now available. Hosted by resident warm up for BBC1’s “Friday Night with Jonathan Ross” Patrick Monahan and featuring a set with our special guest, if.comedy award winner Brendon Burns, the show promises to be a great night out.
2007’s competition winner Hannah George, from Southampton Solent University, had a “fooking wonderful” time last year and we’re sure this year’s final will be just as good, if not better.
