Sara Blakely, inventor of Spanx explained to Oprah how she pursued her dream. Connie incorporated much of what Sarah said and did into her own idea. She has sent Oprah, Sarah Blakely, several KIK-N-IT kits their use. Connie also met Bob Proctor, from The Secret.

Connie stated to keep her dream alive, she stays in prayer, connection with positive people that believe in her and gave out many KIK-N-ITs.
