March 14, 2008 (FPRC) --
iCallglobe, one of the premier VoIP providers in the United Kingdom, is now looking forward to establish its entity in the Indian markets. After having a successful run in the B2B telephony services and solutions segment, they are presently in the phase of developing a VoIP telephony based website for expanding their horizons and are now targeting the B2C segment of the online market. iCallGlobe is a part of the Rupiz Infotech Group and started its operations in October, 2004. They have registered a yearly growth of approximately 300% consistently in the last three years, with the projected revenues of 2008 being $10.6 million. They are currently having offices in Singapore and the UK and have tie-ups with major Tier 1 telephony operators like AT&T, Singtel, VSNL and Verizon.

Sudhi B. Menon, Co-founder and Business Head, iCallGlobe Ltd., was at his usual confident self when he stated “The Indian market has huge potential. While many were skeptical about how much of the Indian population would be linked via the internet, the estimated figure of 120 million for March 2008 clearly shows that there are a lot of untapped resources waiting. We are in the process of launching VoIP telephony like never before in the Indian markets. Although there are a few big players already operating, the USP of our product is that we would be offering quite a few add-ons apart from providing cost-effective calling.” When asked further regarding these “add-ons”, Mr. Menon was tight-lipped, and said that this would be revealed only when the product is ready for its official launch. He also commented on the Indian mobile phone market, which is expected to reach a staggering figure of 526 million users by 2010. “iCallGlobe’s main objective is to tap on these two segments of the Indian market. With the kind of growth we have had until now, we can assure the Indian audience of world-class quality in our services.”

iCallGlobe already provides its users with over 240 million minutes of internet telephony globally, and has grown leaps and bounds since its inception. With the Indian internet telephony industry being relatively unorganized, iCallGlobe is looking forward to re-invent the entire scenario and provide its consumers in India with a unique VoIP experience. And when one considers the kind of reputation they have built with their outstanding services and solutions in this field, the chances of that happening are quite bright.
