March 20, 2008 (FPRC) -- Transcendent Group, Inc., a premium assurance and management consulting firm providing IT Governance services, has a proven track record of success in numerous facets of IT services including information security, IT auditing, risk management, project management, quality assurance, IT business alignment and business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.
Founded in 2001 by former service line leaders from Andersen’s risk consulting practice and experienced individuals from IBM, HP, and Perot Systems, Transcendent Group's consulting practice has been steadily expanding to meet the needs of a growing industry as well as the needs of their clients.
"It's an exciting time for us," said Johan Lidros, President of Transcendent Group. "In November, we literally outgrew our third office space and needed to move into a larger one. When the office next to us became available, we felt it was meant to be. We expanded our new office space to encompass a state-of-the-art classroom where our professional instructors can pass on their valuable knowledge in a comfortable, hands-on environment."
Such hands-on classes include IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), VMware virtualization, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Boot Camp and other security courses, as well as other disciplines covering wireless network administration, basic computer foundations, information security, UNIX, and business continuity and disaster recovery.
