Research by these designers has been ongoing since August 2007, and they have now revealed the new style welly boots created to look glamorous as well as durable in all conditions.
Following the fashion frenzy in wellies last year by many celebrities, including Kate Moss, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, as well as Kimberley Stewart. This latest fashion breakthrough looks set to hit many of our festivals this year including, Glastonbury Festival and the V Festival.
For the past year or two wellies have made a huge turnaround and now every high street has a colourful selection to choose from. But the big breakthrough seems to have began at the 2007 Glastonbury Festival when Dame Shirley Bassey arrived in a pair of wellies, personalised in diamanté's and rumoured to have cost a whopping £3000. Internet forums went mad with everyone wanting to know where they could get their own pair. Sadly, the personalised diamanté welly could not be found and looked like it was to remain exclusively to those with access to their own personal designer and a spare few thousand pounds.
