March 26, 2008 (FPRC) -- Las Vegas, NV (ZealousPR) — After aiding in the groundswell of grass roots support and cost effective fundraising, direct response marketing and new media firm Direct Response Pros, Inc receives letter of recognition from Presidential candidate Ron Paul’s National Campaign Manager.

“Strategic and cost effective media placement was critical in delivering Ron Paul’s views into the marketplace of ideas,” wrote National Campaign Manager, Lew Moore. “Your assistance in this regard without question brought us results in terms of votes, caucus participation, [fundraising] and donations.” Moore attributed the successful delivery of Ron Paul’s views and cost effective fundraising strategies to vehicles such as the internet, television, radio and a newer, non-traditional direct marketing strategy, targeted text messaging.

Realizing that Ron Paul was receiving little to no mainstream media coverage early on, Direct Response Pros focused on newer technologies to help deliver his message directly to the public through non traditional mediums. Among the DRP arsenal of direct marketing strategies that have proven successful, is targeted text messaging. Targeted text messaging allows the sender to deliver a permission-based text message directly to the mobile phones of a target demographic on a local and national scale, and is simply defined as “Taking a marketing message directly to the personal pocket of the prospect.”

DRP’s Director of Marketing, Thomas Coolidge stated, “We believe that any political candidate seeking cost effective fundraising strategies, running for office or public interest group seeking voter support would most certainly benefit from this type of direct marketing strategy. For example of the latter, imagine if you would be able to deliver the text message ‘Vote No on 10’ with a brief description of the proposed Bill and its effects on Election Day to hundreds of thousands of opt-in mobile phones in that area code. It is my personal prediction that targeted text messaging and the evolution of these newer technologies will soon play an integral role in cost effective fundraising, campaigning and legislation. We are grateful to Ron Paul and his professional staff for having the insight and strength to follow their convictions and try new media placement techniques with us.”
