March 27, 2008 (FPRC) -- Author and editor, John Darling, would like to announce the publication of a new free web based publication, The Tower (The Web’s Eclectic Electric) http://www.theivorytowerzine.com
The Tower follows the very successful launch , The Ivory Tower http://www.theivrytower.com , which is a free listing of writer and artist’s markets. That site has had over 4700 unique visitors and more than 11,000 page views since it went live on February 1, 2008.
The Tower is a quarterly magazine dedicated to bringing the public an eclectic mix of work from new and established authors and artists. The editorial policy of the magazine makes it very open to all variety of work from anyone and places no restrictions on its contributors. The editor encourages those accepted by the magazine to look for other markets (using The Ivory Tower site) since he does not acquire any rights to contributor’s work and he will remove work from his magazine if it ever conflicts with the future publication or sale a contributor makes.
The inaugural issue features artwork ranging from avant-garde to traditional works, literature that ranges from a coming of age story to an article about how to get your letters-to-the-editor published and to poetry that encompasses broken hearts and one man's flight from the Earth.
There should be something for all audiences in The Tower.
