Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Center Launches Spanish Web Site
In 2007, Hispanics led minority racial and ethnic groups undergoing cosmetic procedures (9.5% of all procedures performed, up from 7% in 2000), according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. One plastic surgery center has developed a specialized web site to cater to this market.

More Hispanic women and men are seeking plastic surgery, according to Dr. Lloyd Krieger of Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery, who notes that more than 40% of the patients at his deluxe Los Angeles plastic surgery center are of Latino origin. Dr. Krieger, who has been featured on Univision, Telemundo, and Telefutura, notes that the largest increase in his practice recently has been from Hispanic patients seeking "cirugia plastica."
To meet this growing demand and better serve patients in this community, Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery has launched a specialized Spanish language web site. The web site provides general information on all of cosmetic surgery in Los Angeles and includes emphasis on plastic surgery for Hispanics. Some of the procedures covered include liposuction and tummy tuck as well as rhinoplasty and breast augmentation in Los Angeles.
The web site also covers specialized procedures that tend to appeal to Hispanic patients. For example, the majority of Ca;lifornia cosmetic surgeon Dr. Krieger’s patients who ask for the The Rodeo Drive Mommy Makeover are Hispanic women in their 20s and 30s. The Mommy Makeover consists of a tummy tuck Los Angeles, breast lift and frequently a small breast implant.
