North Highlands, CA – The Tax Lady Roni Deutch was featured early Friday morning on FOX Business Channel's Money for Breakfast.

Ms. Deutch was interviewed by Money for Breakfast host Peter Barnes in a segment that focused on this year’s tax season. Barnes asked Deutch questions about her own success as well as advice for people in need of help this tax season. The interview went so well that Deutch was asked to record a promotion spot for FOX Business that will run on April 15 as a tax day reminder.

“I was raised dirt poor by a loving mother in a large family,” Deutch claimed in the interview. “I was always told that I could do anything I wanted. I started my law firm in my own condo 17 years ago. Now it is the largest tax resolution law firm of it’s kind.”

During the interview Deutch explained the services her law firm offers and also spoke on some more general tax issues. “Be charitable,” she explained. “Give more to charities because you can deduct all the money that you donate to an approved charity.”

“Invest your money into a retirement plan. The IRS wants to see you plan for your future,” she continued. “Adjust your W4s. Why are so many people getting refunds? They should take that money and invest it so they will ultimately get more money and pay less in taxes.”

“It is really important to know that you have to file your tax returns in a timely manner,” warned Deutch. “If you do not file on time then the IRS will assess a 25% penalty. So even if you owe money to the IRS you still need to at least file your return.”

Ms. Deutch’s appearance aired on the FOX Business channel early Friday morning, but the entire segment is available online. You can access the video by clicking on the following links: Part 1, Part 2.
