F E Core Solutions and Extentia Information Technology Join Forces, Creating Extencore Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Pune, India: Extencore Solutions is a global engineering services company providing CAD, CAE, CFD and other allied engineering solutions. Extencore combines F E Core’s engineering expertise with Extentia’s international presence and IT domain knowledge, targeting manufacturing, automobile and related customer segments.

April 10, 2008 (FPRC) -- Umeed Kothavala, Director of Operations, explains: “This is a very exciting opportunity for us. Extencore will be able to take advantage of Extentia’s global presence and access to markets, while benefiting from improved infrastructure and operational synergies. We’re delighted that this partnership has come together.”
Sundaram Rout, Engineering Head, agrees. “This is great news for our existing customers. Now that FE Core has become Extencore, we have a global brand and standard that offers a local service to our customers in India. Of course, we’ll also maintain the high standards that all our customers have come to expect.”
Extencore currently has offices in India (Pune), USA (Pittsburgh) and Germany (Köln). Moving forward, Extencore is also looking to form partnerships with smaller scale engineering and design firms who would like to take advantage of Extencore’s global presence.
In his remarks concluding the ceremony inaugurating Extencore’s new offices in Pune, Dr. Marc Cremer, Director of German Operations, commented that “given the high global demand for Extencore’s services, we’re actively looking for support and partners with whom we can collaborate and with whom we can continue to create compelling solutions for our customers”.
Extencore has already started operations at its Pune office and signed up several international and Indian marquee clients. With an aggressive growth strategy already in place, Extencore operations over the next quarter are going to be focused on recruitment, scaling up and signing up additional customers.
