Registration Now Open for 40th Annual WOCN Conference
Registration is now underway for the 2008 Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses (WOCN) Society Annual Conference scheduled for June 21-25 in Orlando, Florida.

April 10, 2008 (FPRC) -- This 40th Annual Conference offers unparalleled educational opportunities for participants to delve into topics within their area of specialization and beyond through workshops and educational sessions, as well as celebrate their past and reunite with those who have been involved with the Societies forty years of nursing excellence.
Outstanding educational opportunities
Attendees at 2008 Annual Conference can customize an educational syllabus to include research and practice skills integral to their practice and level of experience in order to maximize their practical and clinical knowledge. Over 20 total contact hours will be offered to assist with professional development.
The conference is filled with workshops highlighting specialty-specific topics within wound, ostomy, continence and professional practice tracks. Workshops will include Certification Review Course, Differential Diagnosis of Lower Extremity Ulcers Workshop, a full-day Pediatric Workshop, and Practical Tools for Every Continence Nurse, Fistula Management, and Offloading the Diabetic Foot.
Some of the hot topics addressed at the conference include Diabetic Limb Salvage, Fistula Management Across Care Settings, Best Practice Guidelines for Indwelling Urinary Catheter, and Using Research and Guidelines to Drive Evidence Based Bedside Practice.

While the educational component of the conference is unrivaled, the networking opportunities are equally so. Participants can connect with their colleagues and top experts in the field as they attend educational symposium dinners, receptions and networking meetings, exploring the future of WOC nursing care with individuals who are blazing new trails.
