April 22, 2008 (FPRC) -- Tutors International announces an increase in demand for live-in tutors amongst expatriate families whose children are aiming to study in the top UK and US universities, even though their children have been educated in the best private schools of the resident country.

Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International, said; "This is a situation that I am coming across more and more. I am currently based in Beijing and many of the expatriate families that I advise and for whom I seek tutors are expressing concerns about adequate preparation for elite universities."

Adam has extensive experience of private tutoring and is well aware of the high standards required to study in the most respected universities in the world. "I don’t want to be interpreted as saying the best private schools in countries other than the US and UK are inadequate, far from it. However, the parents for whom I source private tutors are noticing that, unlike the live-in tutors we provide, these schools cannot provide highly focused, personal attention geared towards gaining entrance into the best universities. Our tutors are amongst the best qualified in the world, and often have been educated themselves in the very universities that the students are aiming for. This means they can add personal experience and advice to the excellent home schooling they provide, ensuring that a student is fully prepared when they apply to the best universities."

Expatriate families looking for live-in tutors such as those provided by tutors international may also have concerns about the changes in education system that their child has experienced as a result of having to move to another country. "Even the brightest children may be at a disadvantage if they have started in one system and then changed to another later in their school career," Adam explains. "These gaps in their education become even more apparent when preparing for tough university entrance exams. The parents for whom I have sourced tutors are so delighted to see that any personal circumstances will not have any impact on their child’s long term educational success, thanks to the tailored private tuition we provide."
