May 13, 2008 (FPRC) -- EntropySoft, specialist of the ECI market (Enterprise Content Integration), is putting on the market the new version of the first content ETL software for unstructured data: Content ETL 2. By releasing an improved Content ETL, EntropySoft is once more working towards simple, flawless movements between content repositories.

Traditionally, ETL software (Extract, Transform, Load) does extraction, transformation and loading between structured-data repositories. EntropySoft is putting on the market the first content ETL software for unstructured data: Content ETL 2.

“Content ETL 2 is a new technological leap forward for EntropySoft, its partners and its clients. It is the fist ETL for unstructured data, and the software is really an answer to companies which are confronted to an increasing number of non compatible content repositories. Content ETL 2 is easy to use and its advanced features, such as the visual debugging option, make it a unique solution on the market”.
Raphael Jean – CTO - EntropySoft

Content ETL is designed to structure and industrialize the transfers and transformations between all content-repositories. Its features ensure full traceability of all movements.

Content ETL offers:
- connection to all the company’s content repositories
- graphic conception and planning of all document transfers
- documents and metadata transformation management
- delegation of transfer management to end-users

The software is using EntropySoft’s exclusive portfolio of bidirectional connectors to access the information system. Content ETL’s easy-to-use interface helps putting into end-users’ hands the planning and execution of the company’s document processes.

Inside Content ETL, two clients, Content ETL Studio and Content ETL Web, are implementing the software’s features. Content ETL Studio is for advanced users who want to graphically design and plan document processes. Content ETL Web is for all users to manage transfers on a day-to-day basis.

Key-features include graphics-based process construction. With a simple drag&drop, document types, metadata, permissions, groups and users can be mapped in source and target applications.

Thanks to its technological versatility and simplicity of use, the EntropySoft technology offers an unparalleled normalized access to all document applications.
