Triple Diamond Energy Corp. Commences Funding the Triple Diamond Energy No. 2 Joint Venture

May 13, 2008 (FPRC) -- ADDISON, TX -- Texas-based oil and gas exploration and production company, Triple Diamond Energy Corp., has announced that it has commenced funding the Triple Diamond Energy No. 2 Joint Venture oil well project. The project consists of plans to drill four development wells. Two of the wells will be drilled in Tom Green County, Texas and two of the wells will be drilled in Seminole County, Oklahoma.
The Seminole County, Oklahoma portion of the project is a re-drill of an undrilled high structure of an oil field discovered in 1987. According to reports issued by Spot Light Engineering, at least 100,000 barrels of Proven Undeveloped producible reserves remain in the structure. More than 1,200,000 barrels of oil have been produced from this field to date.
The Tom Green County project is an off-set to existing production and is located in the area of the Schneirs Oil Field. “According to Texas Railroad Commission data, Tom Green County, Texas is currently the fourth largest district in Texas for barrels of oil produced in 2007. The Schneirs Oil Field has to date 9 wells that have produced 1,255,606 barrels of oil to date with an average of 137,200 barrels contained in each,” said Chris Jent, founding partner of Triple Diamond Energy Corp. Chris Jent and Robert Jent, owners of Triple Diamond Energy Corp., along with principals of geology firm Nova Resources Inc, have invested financial dollars in escrow accounts shoulder to shoulder with investors. Drilling of the Joint Venture No. 2 four well project is scheduled to commence the first week of August.
