Rico Tubbs Album Launch Party comes to London
After last months pavement-blocking event with the Streetlife DJs, NuSkoolBreaks.co.uk return with a genre-pushing event that can only be described as breaks! This month, launch party for Rico Tubbs' amazing "Knuckle Sandwich" Album.

May 14, 2008 (FPRC) -- Rico Tubbs – Voted ‘The Best Electronic DJ’ in Finland 2006 and 2007 returns to Herbal to launch his hugely anticipated album ‘Knuckle Sandwich’ out on Menu Music. Over the past year, Rico has been smashing dance floors all around the world more then normal and has also supported Pendulum on their recent tour. Rico has gained support from some of the biggest DJs in the scene; SWITCH, SINDEN, TAYO, MEAT KATIE, RENNIE PILGREM, ANNIE MAC have all praised this Finish stars production skills. Sinden has even said that ’Rico is the hottest producer out there’. And when THAT’S coming from the hottest DJ out there, you know this album is going to be one of the best of 2008!!
Making sure the launch party goes off with the biggest explosion Herbal has ever seen, ATOMIC HOOLIGAN will be joining Rico in Room One. Terry Hooligan has played all over the world and recently won the ‘Best Live Act’ award at this year’s Breakspoll. With their new Album ‘Sex, Drugs and Blah Blah Blah’ recently being released, Atomic Hooligan is becoming a household name in the dance scene.
The Menu Music action doesn’t stop there! LADY WAKS is flying in from Russia to show London why she was nominated at Breakspoll for ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’, ‘Best Single’ as well as ‘Best Large Club Night’ for her HUGE ‘Breaks Arena’ party back in her home town of St Petersburg. Menu Music knows how to rock a party and this party will be guaranteed evidence of that!
We will also be joined by hotter then hot producer of the moment, BLENDE. Blende has remixed The Klaxons, Lutzenkirchen and the recent dance music hit ‘Wink Wink’ by Fil OK. Blende is in so much demand right now he’s had to buy a ticket dispenser and has made people form an orderly queue! His sets are filled with gut wrenching twisted house music that makes you dance like never before. Blende will finish room one off in style.
Upstairs, we see Mr MoneyShot play host to one of his LEGENDARY birthday parties with a line up PACKED with HEADLINE acts as well as DJs and producers making big waves in the dance music scene. First up, we have SOUL OF MAN; the head honcho from the biggest breakbeat label around, FINGER LICKIN. STEELZAWHEELZ is joining in on the celebrations with a p-funk party monster of a set, new production duo 2 BIT THUGS will be laying down a summertime set filled with Funk, Soul and Hip Hop. And lets not forget the birthday boy himself, Catch23 (Mr MoneyShot/Adam SlackShot) finishing off the night in true birthday style.
