Streaming Video Meets Viral Video: GVT Adds Viral Email Marketing Component To Streaming Video Email

May 15, 2008 (FPRC) --
Global Video Technology, LLC today announces another advanced feature of their unique streaming video email product, designed to add more power to a company's email marketing solutions.

"When a friend wants to show you something they think you may be interested in, you are inclined to take a look at it.", says Adrian Da Silva, President of Global Video Technology. "We have decided to offer this as a free feature within our streaming video email marketing solution", continues Da Silva, " and our Dashboard that is provided to each customer continues our ease-of-use tradition with this new addition".

The customer simply includes a "Send To A Friend" button in the streaming video email that they simply and easily create in their Dashboard. The Global Video Technology software handles the rest of the work.

"This is a very powerful tool in two respects", says Michael Murray, Vice President and CTO, "It allows a streaming video email recipient to send an exact copy of the advertising message to up to ten friends at one time by clicking a button in the email. In addition, our real-time video viewing statistics in the Dashboard will show our customer the length of time the video was watched to the ten-thousandth of a minute and provide the email address of the recipient with every forwarding." adds Murray. The email address of everyone opening the email is captured in the online viewing statistics, regardless of whether the viewing came as a result of a direct mailing or the advertising was received from a friend.

This streaming video email tracking continues down as many levels as necessary, until the email forwarding ends.

"This tracking of every video viewing, no matter how many levels of forwarding has happened, is enhanced even further by the ability of the customer to download the viewing statistics with a single click and have the data automatically display in a spreadsheet, ready for further analysis.", adds Murray. This no cost feature in the customer's Dashboard is a very powerful tool for marketing research.

"We expect this new product enhancement to capture the interest of every business, small and large. We are actively seeking to increase our sales force to get this vitally important message out, given the current state of our economy.", offers Da Silva.
