New Trial Date Set In Maella Trial

May 21, 2008 (FPRC) -- A final trial date has been set in the groundbreaking first post Maella trial on the issue of fradulent incorporation of a medical facility. In the Matter of Andrew Carothers, MD, PC versus The Insurance Companies represented by Bruno, Gerbino & Soriano and Freiberg & Peck, is scheduled to begin on June 16, 2008 in Richmond County, New York.
The insurers are led by the trial team of Craig Freiberg and John McCormack of Freiberg & Peck and Vincent Gerbino of Bruno, Gerbino & Soriano. Carothers is represented by various attorneys from Subin Associates. The case involves allegations of a scheme to defraud several insurance companies in the State of New York out of an estimated $60,000,000 plus dollars.
