June 5, 2008 (FPRC) -- AntiqueTrader.com, the online component of America's Antiques & Collectibles Marketplace, has launched a new classified advertising system.

The new online Collectibles Marketplace, accessible at www.antiquetrader.com, offers greatly improved functionality that allows sellers to post up to five full-color photos, extended descriptions of items being sold (up to 3,000 characters), and a simple method for placing ads both online and in print.

"Antique Trader is America's Antiques & Collectibles Marketplace, and that means both in print and online," said Antique Trader associate publisher Scott Tappa. "Our new online Collectibles Marketplace will allow buying and selling members of the antiques community to come together through us like they never have before."

In addition to full keyword searching, fielded searching is available to interested buyers. Users will be able to complete transactions securely via PayPal.

The marketplace also allows users to browse sports-related collectibles, with the addition of music and movie memorabilia, militaria, comics, games, and postcards coming soon.
