KTGY Earns 14 Gold Nugget Awards -- Merit Awards Recognize Firm’s Diverse Portfolio

KTGY earns 14 Awards of Merit in the 2008 Gold Nugget Awards prestigious competition. KTGY winners encompass recreational use facility, site planning, adaptive re-use and mixed-use categories. Housing honors were bestowed on detached home designs, attached homes, affordable housing and apartment projects. Winning projects are located throughout Northern and Southern California: Irvine, Livermore, Los Angeles, Los Gatos, Morgan Hill, Palo Alto, Pasadena, Rocklin and Sacramento. Of particular note are awards received in three categories for sustainable projects, and one for the firm’s first completed retail design.

June 12, 2008 (FPRC) -- IRVINE, CALIF. - KTGY GROUP, INC., Architecture and Planning, announces 14 Awards of Merit in the 2008 Gold Nugget Awards. The Merit Award winners reflect the firm’s widely ranging design and planning capabilities and were selected from more than 520 entries in the prestigious competition.

KTGY winners encompass recreational use facility, site planning, adaptive re-use and mixed-use categories. Housing honors were bestowed on detached home designs, attached homes, affordable housing and apartment projects. Winning projects are located throughout Northern and Southern California: Irvine, Livermore, Los Angeles, Los Gatos, Morgan Hill, Palo Alto, Pasadena, Rocklin and Sacramento. These merit winners are as follows:

• Vantage of Palo Alto (Warmington Homes California) – Best Attached Housing Project – 18 to 40 DU/Acre For Sale, Best Sustainable Community – Attached and Attached Suburban Residential Project of the Year

• ‘The Club’ at Central Park West (Lennar) – Best Public/Private Recreational Use Facility

• Central Park West (Lennar) – Best On the Boards Site Plan

• Royal Court (South County Housing Partners) – Best Affordable Project – Under 30 DU/Acre and Best Neighborhood Site Plan – Up to 20 Acres

• Arroyo Crossing, The Classics – Plan 3 (O’Brien Homes) – Best Single Family Detached Home – 2,500 to 3,000 sq. ft.

• Arroyo Crossing, The Estates - Plan 1 (O’Brien Homes) – Best Single Family Detached Home – 3,001 to 3,500 sq. ft.

• Bellevue Center (Bellevue Ventures, LLC) – Best Adaptive Re-Use Project

• Market Lofts (Lee Homes/CIM Group) – Best Mixed-Use Project

• Aventino Apartments (Sobrato Development Companies) – Best Apartment Project – Up to 3 Stories

• Carsten Crossings (Newland Communities) – Best Sustainable Community – Detached

• Poppy Lane at Natomas Meadows (Pardee Homes) – California Green Builder Residential Community
