July 16, 2008 (FPRC) -- SouthCoast Recovery, a premier California alcohol and drug rehab center, announces the addition of a Adderall Treatment Program to its 30, 60, 90-day and six month residential treatment programs.
In recent years the Federal Government and SouthCoast Recovery have recognized an alarming increase in illegal Adderall abuse and trade across the United States, particularly by teens and college age citizens. Because Adderall is composed of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, Adderall produces the same addictive effects elicited by illegal street drugs such as crystal meth or cocaine and frequently is abused en lieu of common street drugs because of its low price and accessibility.
