July 20, 2008 (FPRC) -- Contemporary Christian music songwriters and vocalists Joshua & Keren Swilley have a calling to inspire through their musical gifts. The husband and wife team, singing since their youth, have long exhibited a passion for music and ministry through their roles as choir directors, worship leaders and singers. Currently Worship Arts Pastors at Hope Church, under the leadership of renowned preacher and pastor Bishop Duane Swilley, Joshua & Keren have embarked on their first joint musical endeavor. With You, the couple’s first contemporary Christian CD filled with God-focused tunes of worship, is a 14-track creative and spiritually-inspired masterpiece.
Joshua Swilley, son of internationally-known speaker and author Duane Swilley, released a solo effort prior to With You. Now with his wife Keren (pronounced Corinne), the two join forces to provide uplifting, melodic and moving tunes on the project, all of which were written by the pair. The lead single, “My Soul Seeks”, a mellow, God-directed track, is already hitting radio strong. Songs like the captivating “I Fell In Love With You”, the thoughtful “In This Place” and the rock-influenced “Why I Come To You” clearly showcase the musical talents of Joshua & Keren. The duo held a pre-release concert at their home church, Hope Church in Cooper City, Florida, in late May. The day prior to the concert, they opened for GRAMMY Award Winning artist Israel & New Breed at the University of Fort Lauderdale Benefit Concert at The Faith Center.
