July 21, 2008 (FPRC) -- IRVINE, CALIF. - Award-winning KTGY GROUP, INC., Architecture and Planning, is pleased to announce that KTGY’s Principal Manny Gonzalez, AIA has been invited to participate at the 30th annual Southeast Building Conference (SEBC)/Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) GreenTrends event, July 30 – August 2, 2008. The Conference includes some of the nation's leading green building experts and a 1,000-exhibit exposition featuring a special section of GreenTrends booths displaying green products and services.
At the conference, Gonzalez will speak on "Multifamily Design: Latest, Greatest, Most Efficient" on August 1, from 8:00 am – 10:00 am. Gonzalez will discuss the trends in design components making their way into the multifamily market. He will also talk about the advanced technologies that can be included in tomorrow’s designs that will provide competitive advantages without breaking your budget.
Gonzalez is the senior partner in KTGY’s Santa Monica, Calif. office. He is responsible for the design, land planning and production of developments throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado as well as active adult and affordable multi-family communities nationwide. Gonzalez has also served as chair of the AIA Housing Committee, a member of BIA’s Board of Directors, and on national committees for NAHB Multifamily Leadership Board, 50+ Symposium and the University of Housing. He has served on the editorial advisory board of 50+ Builder magazine and has written and contributed to scores of articles on residential design. In late January 2008, NAHB 50+ Housing Council honored Gonzalez for his accomplishments in the 50+ housing industry and awarded him with the Certified Active Adult Specialist in Housing (CAASH) designation.
