The college’s principal Myra Smallman said 'With more companies and individuals wanting to maintain a presence on the Internet than ever before, web design has become far more accessible as it has gradually become software based, with minimal need for programming skills, opening it up to the majority of PC users'.

We still train our students in programming languages, but we can focus far more of the course on areas such as server administration, design methodology and technology.
Everyone can become a web designer, but not everyone will understand the technology behind website management. Though it’s easier than ever before to create a website, it’s essential that those who want to enter the field professionally still do need to learn about web security and programming'.
