August 4, 2008 (FPRC) -- World Class Solutions (WCS) have launched a new video ad service on their site at www.wclass.com. The ads can be shown on the Google AdWords partner network and on other web-based distribution networks.

Google first introduced Video Ads on their partner network in 2006. The Ads display a still image until the user clicks on the play button - then the video begins. However, if the pay-per–click option is selected the advertiser doesn’t have to pay until the user clicks again to go to the website.

The take-up for Video Ads was slow but Pat Hough, CEO of WCS believes that many of the unique features of this advertising channel have been overlooked and these ads are a golden opportunity that may not last. 'Google have always consider the end-user first and this is particularly true in the case of video ads. They are not intrusive because the user can decide to view them or not. They also provide an additional content source for website owners who displays them – people actually want to see good Ads. But the advertiser also gets a great deal. Potential customers can view the video – are exposed to the message - and the advertiser isn’t charged anything until they click. That means powerful ads that are extremely cost effective.'

WCS have now launched a service to develop Video Ads for a wide range of different clients. Pat Hough again: 'Large corporations will probably use these ads as a part of a larger multi-media advertising campaign. However SMEs and SMBs can use them to develop a presence on the net that would be out of reach with any other media. What’s more, the audience can be carefully targeted so that the spend goes further. We have an example of one of those ads at www.wclass.com.'

The website is also the point of contact for the development of professional presentations. Clients include corporations, SMEs and SMBs. Pat Hough explains that the latest launch is an element of the same strategy. 'We began by developing custom presentations. Then we developed software so that clients could develop their own presentations using an approach that was completely different to PowerPoint and similar packages. Now we can develop Video Ads for Google and the other distribution networks. The range continues to grow.'

When asked for further details of the strategy he would not be drawn. ' We will have one more launch in the next few weeks and then I’ll be prepared to give some more details about our overall direction,' he said.

World Class Solutions is located in Cork, Ireland and serve the global presentation market. They develop business presentations and Video Ads for entrepreneurs, SMEs, SMBs and corporate clients. They have also developed a standard range of medium-cost presentation packages to challenge the dominance of MS PowerPoint. They can be contacted at www.wclass.com
