 Print View

August 7, 2008 (FPRC) -- Better Business Bureau is warning Connecticut consumers about doing business with an online Internet shopping company, Millennium Empire, which also operates under the names Empire Swords, Warhammer Direct, arhammerdirect.com, Empire Pet Supply and Kingofswords.com.

The companies are involved in Internet shopping, Games & Supplies, General Merchandise – Retail, Internet e-Commerce Services, Mail Order & Catalogue shopping and Pet supplies and Foods-Retail.

Based on complaints filed with the Metro Atlanta Better Business Bureau, including seven from Connecticut consumers, Millennium has an 'Unsatisfactory' rating due to a failure to respond to complaints.

While some complaints have been settled, more than 100 remain unresolved. BBB processed a total of 383 complaints in the last 36 months, and 207 of those were closed in the last year; however, more than a quarter of those remain outstanding.

Complaints concern billing and collection issues, sales practices, delivery, service issues as well as refund or exchanges.

Millennium also operates under Ebae Sellers World, Empire Games, King of Swords, Mariettapoker, King of Ponds and Empire Pets.

Before doing business with any of these or other companies, look for a reliability report on them at www.bbb.org under 'For Consumers.'
