August 29, 2008 (FPRC) -- Sundia Fruit, the premier fruit brand in the US, has taken a big stride towards transforming itself as world’s no.1 fruit brand. Sundia has now launched an entire new range of fresh true fruit products-Sundia Original, Sundia Lite, Sundia Organic, Sundia Mini, and Sundia Fresh Produce. Sundia fruit cups will carry organically grown watermelons, peaches, ruby red grapefruit, pineapple, mandarin orange, mangoes, and papaya (as Tropical Medley).

The Sundia Fresh Produce range features fresh watermelon, honeydew, mango, tomato, and onion, which are organically grown. Healthy eating has become the norm of the day and consumers want to ensure that whatever they eat is 100% chemical-free. Sundia Lite is specifically meant to target the health-conscious consumers. It is the first and only ready-to-eat cut-fruit without added sugar. Packed in water and lightly sweetened with Splenda™, True Fruit Lite contains 50% fewer calories per serving than True Fruit Original.

Sundia True Fruit Organic is the only single serve, ready-to-eat fruit cup filled with organically-grown mango, grapefruit, peaches, or pineapple. Sundia Mini is a small watermelon enough for two persons.

To ensure maximum food safety, Sundia Fruit is also using HACCP principles for the processing of its 'True Fruit' products. Mr. Kairos, the Vice President of manufacturing for Sundia Fruit says, 'It’s a step beyond what's required for the manufacturing of products like 'True Fruit,' but consumers today want their food suppliers to take all the steps possible to ensure food safety.'

Crafted for convenience, Sundia fruit cups are also equipped with a stylish ‘spork’ (combination of spoon and fork) that makes the fruit ready to eat whenever you like. The cups can easily fit into automobile cup holders and lunch boxes. Besides, Sundia Fruit has also launched a super saver summer bonanza, which includes $1.50 off on purchase of a Sundia watermelon and two ziplock containers.

Sundia True Fruit™ range is available widely across major US department stores like Wal-Mart, Albertsons, Ralphs, Fry’s, Piggly Wiggly, Publix, Whole Foods, Kroger, Supervalu, Meijer, H-E-B, Affiliated Foods, and Bashas’. Sundia Fruit has also made inroads into Thailand with its new cut fruit range. It is expected that the growing demand for easily accessible and healthy snack will surely make Sundia Fruit’s new range of fruit products a great success.
