September 15, 2008 (FPRC) -- Reasonable Software House Limited announced the 'King/Queen of Dedupe' contest result in Aug 2008. Since April 2007, the contest was held to raise the awareness of duplicate files in PC Desktop and corporate network. Computer users may not be aware of how many duplicate files they have until disk space is full and file scattered around without management. NoClone is simply but powerful file utility to uncover true duplicate files, similar file and duplicate emails. The contest is held monthly. Score is calculated on monthly basis. Score = number of duplicate files found + number of duplicate files removed + size of duplicate files found (in KB) + size of duplicate files removed (in KB) + number of files marked by Smart Marker. User with top 3 highest score in a month will be rewarded! King/Queen of dedupe can get ONE free installer CD and license / upgrade. Registered users will have higher chance to get prize due to ability to remove large amount of duplicates.
