September 18, 2008 (FPRC) -- EUGENE, ORE. – Brian Hartsell with Key Realty has employed the services of IDX, Inc. and its custom IDX solution to help simplify the real estate search for his clients. The Internet Data Exchange (IDX) software that Hartsell selected extracts raw listing data from the Greater Las AoR MLS (GLVAR) and formats it to be displayed as an integrated and easy to search part of his real estate website. By implementing the IDX Broker software, Hartsell’s clients searching for rentals in Las Vegas, Nev., where the company is located, now have direct access to quickly and efficiently narrow down properties from a database of thousands to find their ideal home.

IDX Broker’s custom search tools allow Hartsell’s clients the opportunity to search GLVAR properties in five different ways including an interactive map search powered by Google Maps where clients can view the property they are considering pinpointed accurately on a satellite map and judge its relativity to major roads, landmarks, and other properties for sale. Advanced IDX search tools make it simpler than ever for clients to get more information about listings with an easy to locate photo gallery, link to contact the listing agent for more information or schedule a showing, and ability to print off a rental flyer. Clients unable to locate a property matching their specifications can elect to save their search and be notified by email when properties matching their criteria become available on GVLAR.

Hartsell has access to client contact information and saved search criteria through the new lead management section of his administrative dashboard. This exclusive administrative log-in is also where Hartsell can edit his custom IDX search tools, enter his custom CSS, and design global, page, and category wrappers for his MLS data. All of these tools combined provide for a truly personalized and custom property search experience for both consumers and agents.
