Realtor Ingird Owens Provides her Clients a Personalized Online Property Search Function

Customization is what makes searching for real estate online easier for both Realtors and consumers.

September 26, 2008 (FPRC) -- EUGENE, ORE. – IDX, Inc. is happy to welcome Realtor Ingrid Owen with Coldwell Bankers Brokers of the Valley in Napa, Cal. to the growing list of real estate agents and brokers choosing to customize their websites with the use of custom IDX Broker software. Clients visiting Owens’ site can now create a unique search to browse the thousands of listings on the Bay Area Real Estate Information Services MLS (BAREIS) and use custom IDX tools to gather more information and help them narrow down their results.

The seamlessly integrated IDX search allows clients to search BAREIS properties in five different ways: basic, advanced, map, address, or listing ID. The map search allows clients to view the property pinpointed on a satellite map powered by Google Maps as well as view pinpoints of other properties for sale in the area, major roads and landmarks, and proximity to other cities. Clients who wish to continue searching for properties can save their search criteria and sign up to receive automatic email updates as soon as properties matching their specifications become available on BAREIS.

IDX Broker provides an administrative log-in section where Owen has access to client contact information and saved search so that she can manage her new leads and follow up in person with clients who are serious about buying. It is here that Owen can also control the look of her site through the use of custom CSS and incorporate the BAREIS property listings into her site with global wrappers. Owens can elect for each of her listings to have dynamic title tags making each property page appear unique and increase the chances of one of her properties being picked up by a major search engine and distributed all over the internet.

About Ingrid Owen
'I moved to California from Missouri 20 years ago and have lived in Napa Valley for the past six years. I enjoy wine tasting, reading and hiking, and I keep busy with my 3-year-old beagle that needs lots of walks and is a lot of fun. I am continually looking for ways to improve my business, health and relationships. I studied finance at the University of Missouri in Columbia, and after working in sales for Xerox for 11 years, I earned my masters’ degree in counseling psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, Calif. I recently started a hiking group called Hike NV. It’s a group of professional men and women who meet regularly to have fun, get exercise and meet new people.'
