Halloween Horror Bord Game Sale

Starlit Citadels Halloween Horror Sale puts both classic and award winning horror games on sale for the month of October.

October 1, 2008 (FPRC) -- Starlit Citadel; a Canadian board games store; is holding a Halloween Horror sale for the month of October featuring a series of popular and award-winning horror games. Board games on sale are discounted up to 50% off retail prices.

"Horror themed board games have always been a huge success with our customers, from popular classics like Zombies!!! to award winners like Arkham Horror;" said CEO Tao Wong of Starlit Citadel. "When would be a better time for a horror themed day of gaming than Halloween? While traditionally Halloween marked the day where the boundary between the living and the dead had dissolved, these days we celebrate this day by dressing up and making believe in creatures that go bump in the night."

"Our Halloween Horror Sale will run for the entirety of October, discounting our horror themed board games and providing the public time to purchase the games for an evening of fear and entertainment."

Among the board games on sale include Arkham Horror â€' a co-operative board game based on horror classic novelist H.P. Lovecraft’s Mythos series â€' and Doom; based on the horror first person shoot-them-up video game.

Starlit Citadel is based in Richmond, BC and has been in business since 2007. On its site, it stocks over 700 board games, role-playing games and gaming accessories for sale within Canada and worldwide. The Halloween Horror sale is its first such sale.
