October 14, 2008 (FPRC) -- ADDISON, TX -- With the first two wells in Seminole County drilled and logged, Triple Diamond Energy Corp. commenced drilling of its third well in the Sportsman Lake Field. The four-well project in Oklahoma is part of a multi-well project in Seminole County, Oklahoma

The four wells are located on a large geological formation known as the Sportsman Lake Field. This area of Proven Undeveloped Producible Reserves was previously undrilled, however reports have indicated the high structure contains a minimum of 100,000 barrels of attic oil.

Before spudding the well, Triple Diamond Energy Corp. received regulatory approval from the Oklahoma authorities as well as all necessary leaseholds and mineral agreements required for the project. This provides the oil and gas exploration company the permission it needs to access the land and pull the oil from below the surface. Then, surveys of the area were used to define the ideal location for the well sites and the drilling pads.

"This well will be drilled up to 5,000 feet below the surface to reach the top of the geological formation. Once that is complete, we will log and equip it so the well can be put online and start producing oil," said Chris Jent, Chief Marketing Officer for Triple Diamond Energy Corp. (http://www.triplediamondenergy.com/)

TDEC began drilling the first well in the project in August and has the fourth well in the area scheduled to start early in the third week of October.
