Federated Records / In-Place Records Management is when a “best of breed” records management software solution is able to work across a variety of content repositories within an enterprise, without relocating the content to the records management system.
The PathBuilder software allows organizations to continue managing content at the line of business application or at a departmental level --while managing records at the enterprise level.
