November 5, 2008 (FPRC) — Announcing Comfort Foods Grill, Portsmouth’s most recent addition, the restaurant will be opening in November 2008. Grand opening date December or January 2008. Located behind the Wren’s Nest Inn, a cozy retreat, convenient to I-95 and 101 just off Rte. 1 in Portsmouth, NH.
The investment in the 55+ seat space is a big step for Comfort Foods Grill co-owners and brothers, Dennis and Jeff Saunders. When opening this new restaurant, the brothers (who currently run a small gourmet breakfast café behind the Hampton Falls Inn) will be adding approximately 5-10 jobs to the local economy. The brothers plan to serve breakfast from
7 a.m. –12 p.m. and then dinner from 4 p.m. on.

'We chose Portsmouth as our location because of its highly dynamic neighborhoods comprised of families and business professionals who desire delicious fresh food choices, paired with great friendly service that they’ll enjoy.'
Comfort Foods Grill is committed to offering great tasting food — the menu will change daily (with the exception of a few staple dishes) but all meals will always be a culinary delight. The business community’s needs are served with catering services, free WiFi access, and roomy tables for business meetings.
As part of the opening day celebration, Comfort Foods Grill will be hosting a “Bon Appetite” ceremony at 8 a.m. throughout the day, Dennis and Jeff will provide free sample French toast to every customer, while supplies last. The normal business hours will be from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then again from 4:00 p.m. to close. Monday thru Sunday. Call ahead seating will be available, major credit/debit cards are accepted.
