Southwest Mississippi Community College Extends Contract with Edcomm Banker’s Academy for Teller Training
Southwest Mississippi Community College has extended its contract with Edcomm Banker’s Academy to continue using their Teller training program for its academic needs.

November 19, 2008 (FPRC) -- Southwest Mississippi Community College has extended its contract for three additional years with Edcomm Banker’s Academy to continue using Teller Training for its academic needs. The College will also be using Learning Link®, Edcomm Banker’s Academy own Learning Management System (LMS), for hosting and maintenance purposes.
Take Charge! Achieving Teller Excellence, a comprehensive program that teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude that make tellers successful for banks, credit unions or Money Services Businesses (MSBs), is accredited with college credits and continuing education credits for students. The program gives tellers an overview of the industry, prepares them to provide outstanding customer service, reviews the various products and services that the Financial Institution offers, and teaches them how to process and settle transactions while being mindful of compliance issues that affect their work. Upon completion, students can provide documentation of their completion to prospective banks, credit unions and MSBs.
Learning Link®, Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s full featured Learning Management System (LMS), has an open architecture that builds on industry-standard SCORM and AICC compliance, but adds features and capabilities far beyond any competing products.
