December 5, 2008 (FPRC) - Eastern Seals Eastern Pennsylvania announced Monday that Sandra L. Wise has been named Vice President of the Berks Division. Wise will ensure the quality and effectiveness of all programs delivered within Berks County, as well as developing new programs and initiatives throughout the region.
Wise joins Eastern Seals Eastern Pennsylvania from the Olivet Boys & Girls Club in Reading and Berks County, where she served as Chief Operating Officer. She also worked as Executive Director for the Police Athletic League of Greater Reading, where under her leadership, annual campaign funds increased by $100,000 in only two years.
”Sandra brings a tremendous amount of experience in the Berks County region and her background demonstrates that she is a skilled leader and an effective development officer,” said Nancy Teichman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Easter Seals Eastern Pennsylvania. “This is a win for Easter Seals and a win for the people Easter Seals serves in Berks County and across the region.”
Wise is a member of the Communities that Care, the Weed and Seed Steering Committee of Reading, the Berks County Juvenile Crime Enforcement Coalition, and the Disproportionate Minority Contact Steering Committee.
“Easter Seals is a terrific organization that touches so many people through its Early Intervention and Autism services for children, its physical, occupational and speech therapy and its ability to help families cope with the challenges of raising a child with a disability,” said Wise.
