2008 was Tugboat’s best year in its four-year life as a software start-up company, achieving a number of milestones in development and positioning for a banner year in 2009 and the conclusion of significant partnership agreements.
“We survived many challenges in 2008 and had to react quickly to a changing world economy. It was a bit like living through a financial earthquake. • Engaging in targeted Research and Development to create a suite of data recovery ‘push’ products;
• Received recognition for outstanding quality from Softonic, Tucows, Shareware Junkies, PC-Net Online, the Globe and Mail, and other premium reviewers;
• Released Selkie Freedom, Selkie IT, Selkie Music Mover, Selkie Email Recovery and upgraded the Selkie Software suite to meet new hardware and software demands;
• Launched a blog “Selkie Musings”;
• Presented on affiliate marketing at the Software Industry Conference in Boston;
• And many other innovations.
