December 28, 2008 (FPRC) -- Toronto, Canada. Enerjet, Canada’s newest charter airline, has chosen the IBS iFly Passenger Services System™ for its integrated reservations, ticketing, and departure operations.

IBS is a leading provider of software and services to the global travel, transportation, and logistics industries. The iFly PSS system addresses passenger reservations, inventory control, fares and ticketing, and departure control functions supporting the needs of sophisticated full-service carriers as well as low-cost operators. The system helps airlines enhance service quality, reduce cost of ownership, and improve economies revenues and profitability.

'Enerjet symbolizes Canada's entrepreneurial strength, and the pioneering spirit of Canadians,' noted Darcy Morgan, Enerjet's Vice President of Business Performance and Integration. 'We are happy to align our operations with IBS as they offer the best solution for our business and ultimately for our customers'.

Enerjet began workforce transportation and charter operations in December of 2008. The leisure travel and tour operation of the company will be launched in 2009. Enerjet chose IBS’ solution for its cost-effectiveness, optimum fit, short implementation time, and flexible features that include web distribution, GDS, and credit card payment gateways. IBS will also work alongside Enerjet to combine the iFly PSS solution with the IBS iLogistics workforce supply chain management software. This will enable Enerjet charter customers to gain full visibility into their workforce travel plans and activities, resulting in lower costs and improved service. 'We are keenly aware that major capital projects in Canada need help in reducing their capital and operating costs. Together with IBS we are seeking new ways to enable their cost reduction strategies.' said Darcy Morgan.

'We’re pleased to join Enerjet in their new venture,' said iFly PSS Vice President Kevin Haskins. 'We believe that IBS’s software applications will enable Enerjet to differentiate itself from their competitive set and we are very honored to have been chosen as their partner.'

'The airline industry is moving to change from decades old legacy technology to new-generation systems that help airlines redefine the way they do their passenger business. We are proud to be the driving force behind such a movement that will make the airlines’ passenger business more profitable', said V K Mathews, Chairman and CEO, IBS Group.
