February 12, 2009 (FPRC) -- MARIETTA, GA – MyTarp.com, a leading online provider of tarp and tarp products, has added boat covers made of a specially blended fabric to their extensive product line. The new boat tarps are available in a 10 oz fabric are available in four colors -- mineral pearl, gray, tan and light blue.
The new boat tarps consist of 65% polyester and 35% cotton to produce a breathable and tear-resistant material. The breathability prevents the bacterial, mold and mildew growth that is commonly seen with aquatic vehicles. The material is also notable for its water resistance.
MyTarp.Com adds further strength and tear-resistance to their boat covers by installing grommets made of rust resistant brass every two feet.
"Boat covers must have breathability. Many of the boat tarps available today are made of heavy vinyl or plastic, which cause mildew and dry rot while many of the pure cotton styles are just not strong enough to stand up to the elements. MyTarp.Com also recently expanded its catalogue to include Super Duty, Flame Retardant and Heavy Duty Tarps in addition to their line of Standard Tarps. The Standard Tarp products are available in Green, Brown, Tan, Mustard, Olive Drab, and Natural White. The Heavy Duty Tarps come in Green, Olive Drab, and Brown while the Super Duty are available in Olive Drab and Green.
In addition to their canvas tarps and covers, MyTarp.Com offers mesh tarps, vinyl tarps, neoprene covers and poly tarps. The accessories offered by the online retailer include grommets and tools, tie-downs, adhesives and compounds.
