March 1, 2009 (FPRC) -- WOBURN, MA - February 23, 2009 - Daimer Industries, a leading manufacturer and distributor of commercial cleaning products, introduced two new power washers to its Super Max® line. The Super Max® 6000 and 9000 straddle the existing Super Max® 7000 tri-mode unit in terms of price point and performance.

"The 6000 offers tri-mode features in a low-priced configuration and the 9000 provides higher pressure levels, higher flow rates," said Matthew Baratta, Daimer spokesman. "Like the existing 7000, these power washers are ideal for cleaning food preparation areas, bathrooms, vehicles and commercial equipment."

The Technology

The new power washers include offer tri-mode technology that allows the equipment to provide steam, hot water, and cold water depending on the cleaning situation. The new machines also have a unique feature that allows the operator to adjust hot water and steam temperatures with a dial.

The equipment feature continuous-use capabilities for increased productivity and long-lasting steel heating coils for increased durability. Other makers of power washers in this price range may use more fragile aluminum coils, which can be prone to holes and eventual failure.

The Products

The Super Max® 6000 power washer is the entry level unit in the tri-mode line and offers up to 750 psi of pressure, a flow rate of up to 1.4 GPM, hot water temperatures of 180º F to 210º F, and steam temperatures as high as 330º F. The higher end, Super Max® 9000 offers up to 1500 psi of pressure, a flow rate of up to 2.8 GPM, hot water temperatures of 180º F to 210º F, and steam temperatures as high as 250º F. Both units use propane for heating.

These mobile power washers are on wheels and include: a 25-foot, high-pressure steam hose; a three-foot trigger wand; four assorted nozzles; and a powder-coated steel, high gloss, chip/chemical resistant case. The models come in 50 or 60 Hz and voltages from 110/120V for customers worldwide.
