Crossroads Career Network, a national membership of churches helping job seekers, is now offering a free online edition of the 2009 Crossroads Career Explorer Guide.

March 3, 2009 (FPRC) -- CHARLOTTE, NC – Crossroads Career® Network of churches providing faith-based job search and career transition resources, recently announced that it is offering a complimentary online copy of the 2009 Crossroads Career Explorer Guide at www.crossroadscareer.org. The 80-page guide features a six-step process for career exploration and job searching, while listening to and following God's calling.
The Crossroads Career Network has been providing online career, ministry and employer resources since 2000. With current career groups and resources sponsored by more than 60 churches in 15 states, Crossroads Career Network is fully equipped to help people in their congregations and communities find jobs, careers and calling.
As a non-profit Christian ministry of churches, the mission is to assist job seekers by offering professional counsel, contacts and often much needed encouragement, giving them the support and guidance they need to understand God's calling as they explore new career opportunities. With a vision to grow the Crossroads Network to include hundreds of churches across the nation, the organization strives to make a positive difference to career explorers during an often stressful and challenging time in their lives.

Intended for use in combination with additional job search and Christian resources, the guide is a compilation of tips, tools and resources from more than 100 employers, ministry volunteers and career experts.
In addition to the complimentary online career guide, Crossroads Career Network offers a variety of networking and search tools for its membership to connect with places that are hiring. The organization provides free career explorer membership on its website, which includes job postings by Crossroads Career Network employers plus more than three million employment opportunities from countless job search engine links. Additionally, Crossroads Career Network career groups offer one-on-one mentoring, scheduled networking meetings as well as career explorer workshops to arm job seekers with an array of tools and information for them to determine their best life and career path.
