American Air & WaterŽ, Inc. successfully met all the General Services Administration (GSA) requirements for being a government supplier and was awarded a Multiple Awards Schedule contract GS-07F-0178V. With the GSA contract American Air & WaterŽ, Inc. will offer the American made SporicidinŽ Disinfectant and Antimicrobial Lotion Soap directly to the federal purchasing agencies.

April 10, 2009 (FPRC) -- Hilton Head Island, SC -- American Air & WaterŽ, Inc. successfully met all the General Services Administration (GSA) requirements for being a government supplier and was awarded a Multiple Awards Schedule contract GS-07F-0178V. With the GSA contract American Air & WaterŽ, Inc. will offer the American made SporicidinŽ Disinfectant and Antimicrobial Lotion Soap directly to the federal purchasing agencies.
American Air & WaterŽ, Inc., a South Carolina Corporation, carries a complete line of SporicidinŽ disinfectant and sterilizing solutions, enzyme cleaners and antimicrobial lotion soap which greatly reduce or eliminate microbial contaminants and can be used in any facility.
The Disinfectant Solution is an EPA registered disinfectant effective against a wide range of bacteria, viruses, mold, and mold spores. This product is approved for mold and mildew remediation, air duct cleaning, water and flood damage restoration, and for general disinfection in institutional, commercial and residential environments. It is EPA listed as Avian Flu, Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) and Tuberculocidal Disinfectant.
SporicidinŽ Antimicrobial Lotion Soap combines antiseptic, cleansing and deodorizing properties and is gentle to the skin. For use as a soap, surgical hand scrub and health care personnel handwash. Providing a high kill rate of a wide variety of disease-causing microorganisms, SporicidinŽ Antimicrobial Lotion Soap cleanses and relieves discomfort from minor burns, cuts, scratches, abrasions and skin irritations and helps prevent cross-contamination.
After all negotiations were completed, the GSA determined the prices offered to be fair and reasonable and the Multiple Awards Schedule contract was granted to American Air & WaterŽ. The initial duration of the contract is from March 2009 to March 2014 and can be automatically renewed in increments of 5 years after that for up to 20 years.
Warren Lynn, President of American Air & WaterŽ, Inc. states This is our second GSA contract, which we obtained in order to provide a range of disinfectant products to the federal government under Federal Supply Schedule 073 for hospitality, cleaning supplies and chemicals. Our first contract is under Federal Supply Schedule 056 for our UV disinfection systems and lamps. The GSA contracts are very important to our company because they make virtually all our product offerings directly available to the federal government. This is especially important right now when reducing energy consumption and controlling the spread of infections are among the nation's top priorities."
