Tugboat Enterprises Takes Next Big Step; Selkie Software Launches Its Own Beta Testing Program

April 29, 2009 (FPRC) -- Tugboat Enterprises has released several Selkie Software products in the past and is looking to engage the IT community in development of new and evolving data recovery and migration software. “We are excited to open up some of our newest software to the community and hope that by doing so, we can give our future customers the best product possible,” says Justin Gong, Programmer and Beta Test Co-coordinator.
The Beta Testing will start on Tugboat’s website: http://shopat.myselkie.com/beta will require testers to sign up. “Beta Testing Applications will be put up on the forum http://myselkie.com/forums/ under the ‘Beta Testing’ section. Our hope is that we will have an active discussion regarding the testing of new releases and any bugs encountered,” says Jonathan Lyster, CTO.
Tugboat Enterprises will offer rewards for testers that find and report bugs or give feedback for their software, including Amazon gift certificates and licenses to their product, Selkie Rescue IT Edition.
Selkie Software is do-it-yourself, reliable, inexpensive, real-time data recovery software. It requires no technical knowledge and runs independent of the Windows Operating System. Features that set it apart from the rest include its “Smart File Finding” technology and the ability to place all data on another computer in the exact order it was before. The “real time” capabilities allow the user to extract data from a broken machine up to the second their computer crashed with no previous backup needed.
